    Fabulous house! Perfect for getting the family away for a long weekend altogether. Great social spaces. Lovely kitchen to cook in.
    All the bedrooms were beautiful and pristine white bedding.
    The garden was safe for dogs and was lovely in the autumn but I imagine is even better in the summer.

    Another fantastic stay at cross farmhouse. this time we visited for two weeks at the start of autumn. the garden and surrounding area was stunning, so much more mature than our last visit a year and a half ago. amazing colours starting to turn as the seasons’ change.

    We used the gas fired bbq several times this visit which was great (everything cooked to perfection). it was beautiful in the evenings watching the geese fly overhead and listening to the barn owls as the sunset whilst grilling away.

    there is nothing lacking in this house. niki was the perfect host, on. hand whenever we had questions, but otherwise left us alone to enjoy our stay in the secluded and secure gated gardens.

    We plan to visit again next year for sure.

    Niki’s place was well deserving of it’s 5 star status. It was lovely to stay in such a well appointed house and everything worked. Most impressive was the ability of the water system to provide loads of showers at serious water pressure. Lots of instructions were available from ‘location of emergency services’ to ‘places to visit’.

    We have just come back from a wonderful long weekend and miss it already! Great location: we spent a day in the New Forest, a day at the beach and a day at the local farm park. When we weren’t out and about the house had plenty of space for two families to socialise, think adults in the kitchen chatting and prepping dinner whilst the kids were in the lounge playing and watching tv. En-suite bathrooms means everyone can get ready at the same time and never a queue for toilets! The house is well equipped with cooking utensils and plenty of crockery and cutlery. The fact that the garden is fully enclosed when the front gates were shut meant we could have peace of mind when the kids were outside. Truly a lovely home in a fabulous location!

    We rented this property for a family get together to celebrate a 60th Birthday. The house was superb, lovely open plan layout, huge well equipped kitchen and four large, comfortable en-suite bedrooms. All 8 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the house was warm, comfortable and spacious. Surroundings include the town of Fordingbridge a short drive away and of course the New Forest on your doorstep. Niki was attentive, very communicative at all times and so easy to deal with.

    Having the facility to place cars under cover was an added bonus, and the garden I am sure will be a delight in the summer – we really must come back!

    We spent a lovely weekend as a family of eight adults celebrating a special birthday. The house was just perfect for us – beautiful ensuite bedrooms that ensured everyone had privacy and a peaceful nights sleep, a cosy lounge with super-comfortable chairs and a gorgeous well-equipped kitchen. The garden was also a delight – it was just a shame we didn’t have the weather to enjoy it.     Cross Farm was amazing ….. very modern, well equipped, well furnished, and immaculate inside and out.
    The property was perfect for our large group …. each bedroom was beautifully furnished, with very comfy beds, and extremely good ensuite facilities. The kitchen was very well equipped (an extra small pan and a water jug would be useful – though I am being overly critical) and everything was easy to operate. The living room was warm and comfortable – a great place to dine, play games, and relax.
    Niki was a very supportive and welcoming host – she left us to get on with enjoying our stay, but I always knew she was available, if required.
    All members of the group were very impressed with all aspects of the property.
    Well worth a 5 Star rating.

The beautiful garden provided a peaceful escape, perfect for both children and dogs to enjoy. The kitchen was well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. The hosts even surprised us with a complimentary cream tea, which was a lovely touch. Their swift communication throughout our stay was impressive. And to top it all off, the gas BBQ in the outdoor area was a fantastic addition for enjoyable meals outdoors.     We had an absolutely amazing stay at Niki’s place. The place itself is beautiful, fab open plan spaces, spacious kitchen and beautiful bedrooms allowing private space for each couple. We also travelled with two under one year olds and the place was perfect for them too. Niki had everything we would need for them, from high chair to travel cot, everything was ready when we arrived.
    Niki was very attentive, showed us around once we arrived, greeted us with some scones, jam and cream (very nice touch!). And while there she was great at responding to any messages/questions we had.
    We’ve made some lovely memories here on holiday and would definitely recommend! 😄

    Thank you Niki for a wonderful stay! We were a group of adults and toddlers and initially picked the place as it was close to Peppa Pig World. In addition there was a private, securely enclosed garden with a bbq, open kitchen for entertaining with French doors, and ensuite for every room which all had more than enough space for travel cots. Our children had a blast playing in the garden, and we could relax knowing they were safe. The place was spotless and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious complimentary scones, jam and cream.

    We had an amazing week at Cross Farmhouse. The house is an absolute joy to stay in; a real home from home. The house is beautifully refurbished and fully equipped. Everyone loved socialising in the spacious kitchen and breakfast area during the day.
    The lounge area, also very spacious and warm, felt so comfortable and relaxed to enjoy with smart TV entertainment. Connected to the lounge is a more formal dining area where we had many evening meals catching up with friends.
    All en-suite bedrooms, which are a highlight of the farmhouse, gave a luxurious feel for everyone.
    The garden is very private and secure with plenty of parking. A truly peaceful location on the edge of the village with easy access to the New Forest, local villages and seaside.
    Niki is an excellent host with great communication.
    We will definitely visit again with family and friends.

Everything was perfect – beautiful location with great walks in nearby New Forest, large and well equipped house but also so cosy! We were a group of 8 adults, a new born baby, an investigative toddler and 2 dogs, and the space was perfect for group dinners and games nights. Bed super comfortable and great shower!     Great stay, so many possitives on all aspects. The house was stunning and everything you need for you stay, fantastic rooms and kitchen and dining were out of this world.     A very well designed and renovated farmhouse, with quality fixtures and fittings. The property was spacious and comfortable, with folding doors opening out from both the kitchen and sitting room onto a charming garden. There is a good size patio, with attractive garden furniture and a large bbq. Niki was an excellent host, both in terms of communication, and going out of her way to provide some additional toys for our young ones! Whilst there are not a lot of attractions in Alderholt itself, there are a host of activity parks/great walks all within a 30 minute drive, and the sea and the coast a bit further on, all detailed in guides provided by Niki. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!

    The house is even better in person than the photos! Great downstairs spaces – good seating area in the kitchen as well as dining room, and patio area. Good garden space and very dog friendly. Ideal to have a bathroom with every bedroom, especially as we had a family wedding to attend the weekend we stayed.     Everything about crossfarm house is high end of luxury, from the excellent host Niki supplying cream teas and the wonderful bedrooms all being en-suite to the massive sitting room which even with 8 people it still feels spacious. Also the kitchen with granite worktops was excellently thought out, and having a wine fridge was a bonus. Very nice mature garden and the gated property ensures your dog can roam freely. We stayed here for a week and will return next year for hopefully longer.

    Wow! What can I say about Cross Farmhouse?! We came for a surprise weekend away to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday. From beginning to end, Niki was the most incredible host. She was responsive, kind and helpful and we couldn’t have asked for more. As for the house; it is even better than the photos (and that says a lot as the photos are beautiful). The attention to detail is fantastic, the finishes are all so luxurious, the space is amazing and the fact each bedroom has an en-suite is such a bonus.     The photos do not do this beautiful property justice! We were greeted by Niki who is truly lovely and had the most amazing cream teas waiting for us. The house is incredible and very well equipped. We had four children with us and they loved running around the garden and the space indoors was brilliant for them too. We were very comfortable, every room is beautifully decorated. We also found it very handy that everybody had their own bathroom. Highly recommended to stay here and I’m sure we will be back.

    An amazing house. Modern and very tastefully done. We stayed as a family group. Having four bedrooms all en-suite was great. The downstairs living areas are ideal for socialising and cooking together. Also the garden is lovely. We were lucky enough to have good weather in March and used the barbecue.     We booked this house for a 70th birthday with 8 members of the family including 2 grandchildren. It fitted our needs superbly. It is exceptionally well equipped with 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. It has a beautiful lounge with 3 areas to dine – the kitchen/ breakfast room, the lounge/dining room or outside round the BBQ (not so practical in February!). Environmentally friendly with solar panels and a charger for electric vehicles. The owners were very accommodating explaining how things worked, what to do in the area and even leaving a cream tea on arrival. All in all a superb long weekend in a lovely area.

    We had a wonderful week in this beautiful house at Christmas. It could of not been more comfortable and was festively decorated for us. On arrival we were met by Niki who made us feel so welcome and had great recommendations of restaurants and places to visit.
    The communal spaces were generous in size. The kitchen was fitted with high end appliances and more than enough equipment to host Christmas. All the bedrooms were large and the beds were high quality and all of us slept very well. I would definitely recommend a stay at Cross Farmhouse and we would love to come back

    The house was beautiful, clean, bright and fulfilled our needs except one – there is not enough seating- only really comfortable seating for 6 people, in order to seat 8 you have to drag the chaise from the dining room and someone has to sit on a pouffe. If it wasn’t for the seating situation the property would have a 10 out of 10. The garden is enclosed and beautiful and has a lovely outside seating area. The kitchen is perfect for breakfast and informal seating and the dining room table and chairs in the lounge are very comfortable.

    A fantastic house for our family group of 6 adults , one child and one baby. Plenty of space inside and a lovely secluded garden. Also lots of parking space, including some covered. We walked from the house each day, and great care must be taken on the nearby roads as there are no pavements and traffic is fast and furious. Great days out at Boscombe beach, Dinosaur crazy golf, Moors Valley Country Park and the Heavy Horse Centre. Thank you for the welcome pack, we enjoyed our cream tea very much. We would have loved to return, but unfortunately can no longer bring the dogs.

    This house has been refurbished to the highest standard. Every appliance is a top brand. There is nothing lacking. Washing machine fridge freezer iron ironing board toaster microwave wine fridge.
    Bedrooms are amazing and the ground floor bedroom ideal for disabled. Garden is full of perennial plants which in september gave a huge range of colour. Barbecue on patio with spare gas cylinder. Could not wish for a better staycation. Nikki who lives next door and looks after the property is a fantastic organiser with lists of places to visit and pubs and local restaurants to eat at.
    First class property . You will not find a better fitted out house anywhere.

    Beautiful, spacious and spotless house. Close to the New Forrest. All the comforts of home and more. 10 mins drive from supermarket. 20 mins from Poole and Bournemouth. 30 mins from Sailsbury and Stonehenge a perfect holiday retreat, totally enclosed and secure garden. Would definitely recommend.

    Our family had the pleasure of staying in this property for a week in August. From the moment we arrived and met Niki, who took us on a tour of the house, we found that everything was of the highest standard. Every bedroom was beautifully furnished, with state of the art bathrooms. The two eating areas on the ground floor worked well with the kitchen area for breakfasts and lunches, and the more formal very large dining area off the sitting room for dinner. The kitchen was fabulous, they have thought of everything here. We never felt crowded as the house is so beautifully designed. Outside there is a large BBQ which we used, and the patio area for drinks and relaxing is just perfect, as is the landscaped private garden. It is in a quiet area, and just the place for a relaxing holiday.

    The farmhouse well exceeded our expectations. Attention to detail is off the scale in a beautiful well thought out house. Surrounded by a lovely garden with fields beyond, it was a haven of peace and quiet. New forest on your doorstep and the childrens park alongside the river was everything they needed.

    This house is just the perfect place to get away from everything and spend an amazing holiday. The location it’s fabulous, perfect for exploring the New Forest and Dorset. The house is even beautiful in person than in the pictures. All the bedrooms are big and comfortable and all of them have en-suite bathrooms. The social areas are really big, spacious and stunningly well decorated. The kitchen has everything you could think of and it is a delight to cook there. We really LOVED the place. The garden is very well kept, beautiful plants and flowers with a good area for BBQ. Niki is a great host. Extremely helpful and very kind.
